Washed and ready-to-spin or felt 100% Jacob sheep wool batts. The fleece is springy, strong, and primitive. The fibers can be spun to create yarn that can be knitted or crocheted into outerwear attire.
The color is predominately white, with some hints of cream, and minimal amounts of brown or black. It is natural and undyed. The staple length measured around 4 inches.
Preparation: The fleece was skirted, washed several times with Kookaburra Wash and hot water, air-dried, and carded with a manual drum carder.
Measurements: 9+ inches wide by 21+ inches long.
