Onion Skin Dyed Yarn

Colors: Yellow (dye derived from onion skins)

Materials: 90% wool, 7% acrylic, 3% rayon. It would knit an outer garment well. 

Yarn size: Worsted weight 

Weight: 2.6 oz - 2.8 oz

Measurements: 204 yards

Swatch: 16 stitches x 22 stitches on US 9 (5.5 mm) for 4 inch swatch.

Care instructions: 

-Hand wash in cold water with gentle wool-specific detergent.

-Avoid agitating yarn or garment so the fibers remain intact/to prevent felting.

-Drying: Lay flat and air dry. Do not wring out yarn/garment or hang. 

-Disclaimers: Wash separately in cold water for the first few washes to allow excess dye to rinse out. Keep out of sunlight.
